Next Planet Technology was founded in 2024 in Vancouver, Canada by farmers, scientists, doctors and engineers. We have a strong track record of growing innovative businesses. Combined, we have $50M raised, 80 patents granted, 60 years of experience and innovative hardware products on every continent.

We began developing our technology in 2021 as an entry to NASA and the Canadian Space Agency's Deep Space Food Challenge. Over 3 year of competition and 3 knock-out rounds of judging, we won the grand prize in Canada. We became revenue generating in 2024, signing multiple contracts with the Canadian Space Agency to provide technology and expertise to various programs.

We are now working to ensure we have the best, flight tested, oxygen generation, food production and water filtration technology before the first spacecraft destined for Mars is built. We will start selling commercial systems in 2029 and expect to be specified for a Mars mission in 2030.
